Stephen Dickinson

Position: Director / Chartered Financial Planner

In addition to obtaining a BA (Honours) degree in Economics, Stephen is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, he holds the Chartered Financial Planner Status requiring the highest qualifications in personal and corporate financial planning. Specialising in Investments and Pensions Stephen is respected as one of the leading financial planners in the UK. Stephen trained with Legal & General, gaining experience in managing both private clients and a team of advisers and support staff.

Following a successful spell working with a firm of Chartered Accountants Stephen launched Professional Wealth Management Ltd in May 2003, providing bespoke financial advice to the clients of professional firms. After 18 years building a successful and highly respected IFA practice, Stephen together with Andrew and Phil sought to put in place our own succession plan to ensure the continued long-term success of the business and ensuring our clients will be well looked after for many years to come. We chose to partner with Independent Wealth Planners UK, IWP and develop a regional hub with PWM at its core. Stephen is the CEO of the hub and is responsible for the overall development and running of the business while still working with his clients to achieve their financial goals.

Stephen is married with two children, Amelia and Archie. Although he completed the London Marathon in 2021 (5hr 43Mins – doing for the fatties!) he does not list running as one of his preferred extra-curricular interests which are mainly Rugby Union, Skiing, and fine wine (actually any wine!).
